Abstract

This article delves into various geometric concepts and their applications in the flat coordinate plane. The exploration begins with calculating the area of triangles using the EP 1: Triangle Area Formula. We then move on to EP 2, where we discuss matrix multiplication and its relation to vectors. The EP 3 section introduces circles and parabolas, explaining their properties and equations. In EP 4, we explore the relationship between points and circles and investigate tangents to the circle. The concept of a focal chord is covered in EP 5, highlighting the properties of an intersecting chord in a circle. Continuing the discussion, EP 6 focuses on finding equations of tangent lines to the focal chord. In EP 7, we discover when two vertical lines are perpendicular. Moving forward, EP 8 explores the properties of images obtained by intersecting cones with planes. Lastly, we wrap up with a two-part discussion on vectors in EP 9 and EP 10, exploring their characteristics and applications.
