Abstract

Global conflicts and geopolitical tensions increasingly influence daily life, even for individuals and communities far from the immediate zones of conflict. Disruptions in supply chains, economic instability, energy shortages, and the spread of misinformation can significantly affect household wellbeing and community stability. This article aims to examine how global conflicts influence everyday life at the family and community levels, analyze the vulnerability of communities through four essential survival systems, and highlight the role of fear, information, and emotions in decision-making during crises. The article also presents a framework for community-level risk assessment and proposes strategies to strengthen community resilience. By understanding systemic vulnerabilities and psychological factors that shape responses during crises, communities can develop more effective preparedness strategies and adaptive responses. Strengthening resilience requires cooperation among families, community organizations, and local institutions to ensure sustainable coping mechanisms during periods of uncertainty and disruption.
